Another stab at doing furries. My recent obsession with paws worried me.
As you may (or may not know) i'm not a big furry fan. they give me the creeps. o.o (though i greatly admire many furry artists!) and nwo i find myself drawing them. i'm worried.

anywho, based on the acinonyx pardinensis (giant cheetah) an extinct species of cheetah that was about the sie of a modern lion. they tended to have thicker fur due to living in colder climates, and were slightly stockyer than a modern cheetah, but were probably just as fast.
i really liek how the coloring came out ^_^

Really great composition. And nice, tribal pose and posture... The spear is neat, too (What is that, a toucan? XD Awesome.). And the furry.... NICE. The anatomy's great, and that paw/hand. O_O His hand on the spear is just gorgeous....
Your furry feels REAL, you know? Some are so Disney (Heh mine included. ^_-), but you made him a real animal here. That's really impressive, and I like it a lot. Furries are addictive though, ne? I hope you'll do more. This one's just beautiful.

Most of the photos i found they had big red/brown eyes, and you couldn't see much or any of the whites. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

I had a lot of trouble with that hand. originaly it was up by his shoulder, closer to the top of the spear, but this seamed more relaxed and less used. hehe i really liek the people who can do disney like drawings, i've just never been able to get that style to agree with me.

His nose looks a little odd, but over all, it is a really nice picture! I really like the little section of background there :2 nice touch! And his paws look soooo neat! Keep drawin the paws, theres nothing wrong with them. X3
